Shler Mam-Qaderi, a citizen from Mahabad and mother of two children, several days after her arrest, remains in an unknown situation, and no information is available about her place of detention or health condition.
According to Kolbarnews on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Shler Mam-Qaderi was arrested by forces of the Intelligence Department in Mahabad and transferred to an unknown location. Based on obtained information, the arrest of this citizen has been attributed to her connection with the families of those killed during protests in the city.
Reports indicate that at the time of her arrest, this citizen was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment and taking medication. However, after her arrest, her access to medical services and medication remains unclear.
An informed source has also stated that the arrest of Shler Mam-Qaderi was accompanied by violence, and she sustained a knee fracture during the arrest.
Shler Mam-Qaderi had previously also been arrested by security institutions.
