Regime security forces in Sanandaj carried out widespread raids on the homes of civil, environmental, and labor activists, arresting 10 of them. This action comes amid growing concerns over the outbreak of widespread protests in Kurdistan.

According to Kolbarnews, today, Sunday, January 4, 2026, regime security forces in the city of Sanandaj arrested a number of the city’s civil, women’s, environmental, and labor activists.
Those detained include Khaled Seifpanahi, Arman Salimi, Qaneh Khatari, Bayan Farajollahi, Delir Eskandari, Jamal Khodarahmi, Keyvan Zandkarimi, Shaho Mohammadi, Khabat Asadi, Wrya Moeid, and Sediq Mahmoudi.
According to the same report, security forces raided the home of Khaled Seifpanahi, the brother of the late Hamed Seifpanahi, and during the arrest insulted and disrespected Dayeh Khaji, Khaled’s mother.
It should be noted that all of these activists had previously been arrested and subjected to judicial actions due to their civil activities.
