According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Artin Nadimi and Mardin Nadimi were temporarily released from Sanandaj Central Prison, pending the completion of judicial proceedings, after each posted a bail of 500 million tomans. Following their initial arrest in Kamiyaran, the two citizens were first held by the security institutions of that city and, after two days, were transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Department for interrogation.
Artin and Mardin Nadimi were arrested on Saturday, January 10, 2026, by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran without the presentation of a judicial warrant and were transferred to an unknown location. During their detention, the family of the two brothers was unaware of their place of detention, physical and mental condition, and the charges brought against them.
The release of the two brothers took place while their judicial case remains open and the process of addressing the charges continues.
