Ilam; Violent Raid on the Home of Sasan, Ehsan, and Ahmad Pakravan and the Arrest of Two of Them

As part of the ongoing wave of arbitrary arrests in Ilam Province, security forces of the Islamic Republic raided the home of Sasan Pakravan, Ehsan Pakravan, and Ahmad Pakravan, arresting two brothers from the family and transferring them to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, security forces raided the family home of these three Kurdish brothers in the city of Ilam without presenting a judicial warrant and using violence.
During the raid, Sasan Pakravan and Ahmad Pakravan were arrested after being beaten and transferred to an unknown location.
Ehsan Pakravan left the location at the moment of the raid, but so far no information is available about his condition or place of detention, and his possible arrest has been reported.

According to available information, Ahmad Pakravan had previously experienced arrest and political imprisonment. Sasan Pakravan, 22 years old, is single and self-employed; Ehsan Pakravan, 39 years old, is single and a fitness trainer; and Ahmad Pakravan, 37 years old, is married, has a young child, and works as a contractor.

The three brothers are originally from the village of Sarab Karzan in Sirvan County and are residents of the city of Ilam. As of the time of this report, security and judicial institutions have provided no explanation regarding the reasons for the raid, the charges, or the place of detention of those arrested.
