According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Bardiya Darvishi was arbitrarily detained by security forces during the protests in the city and taken to an undisclosed location.
Several days after his arrest, no clear information has been released by security or judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic regarding the reasons for his arrest, possible charges, place of detention, or his physical condition.
