Nima Mandoumi, a Kurdish artist and violinist from Kamiyaran, has been detained by security forces in Alborz Province for more than 19 days, and despite his family’s follow-ups, no information has so far been made available about his place of detention or condition.

According to Kolbarnews, Nima Mandoumi, a 23-year-old citizen from Kamiyaran, was arrested on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, by forces of the Intelligence Department in Alborz Province and transferred to an unknown location. During this period, his family has been deprived of the right to contact, visitation, and information about his judicial status.
Based on this report, the arrest of this young artist took place following his joint performance and artistic collaboration with a group of Israeli musicians during a music performance in Armenia, and this artistic collaboration has been cited as the pretext for his arrest.
