Tehran; Death of Mehdi Ebadollahi, a Citizen from Qorveh, during nationwide protests

Mehdi Ebadollahi, a 36-year-old Kurdish citizen from Qorveh County and a resident of Tehran, is another of those killed in the nationwide protests in Tehran.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, Mehdi Ebadollahi was shot directly by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during nationwide protests in Tehran, in the Tajrish area, and lost his life.
This Kurdish citizen was killed after being hit by three live bullets to the heart and chest.

According to received information, Mehdi Ebadollahi had previously been a first-grade driver and over the past five years had been working as a sales manager at Pasargad Insurance in Tehran. He had recently become engaged.

After his death, security institutions, by exerting pressure on his family, attempted to prevent public disclosure, and the handover of his body was carried out under strict security supervision and restrictions.
