Tehran; Death of Masoud Moradi in Nationwide Protests

Masoud Moradi, a citizen from Dehloran County in Ilam Province, is another victim of the nationwide protests in Tehran who was killed during the crackdown on protesters by direct fire from live ammunition by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Friday, January 10, 2026, Masoud Moradi, a citizen from Dehloran County in Ilam Province, was directly targeted by live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during the nationwide protests in Tehran and lost his life.

Based on the information obtained, the body of this young Kurdish man was buried approximately ten days later, likely on February 13, 2026.

The handover and burial of the bodies of those killed in the protests are usually accompanied by security pressure and control by government institutions, and families are often placed under direct surveillance to restrict details of the ceremonies, the number of participants, and the burial location.
This has resulted in some cases where the exact time and place of burial remain limited or unclear.
