Eight citizens named Younes Naser, Yousef Azadkhani, Khalil Esmaeili, Ali Hatami, Nabi Zamani, Hassan Mohammadi, Abdolsahab Jafarzadeh, and Reza Khassi have been arrested in the cities of Lumar, Badreh, Malekshahi, and Asemanabad in Ilam Province by government forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and there is still no information available about their fate.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Younes Naser was arrested in the city of Asemanabad by government forces. Also, on Monday, February 2, 2026, Yousef Azadkhani was arrested in the same city. Later, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Nabi Zamani was arrested in Asemanabad and transferred to an unknown location.
In Malekshahi County, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, Dr. Reza Khassi was arrested by government forces and transferred to an unknown location, and no precise information has been released about his condition.
In the city of Badreh, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Ali Hatami, a 34-year-old citizen, was arrested. On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Hassan Mohammadi was arrested by government forces, and on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Abdolsahab Jafarzadeh was also arrested.
At the same time, in the city of Lumar, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Khalil Esmaeili was arrested by government forces.
According to received information, all of these citizens have been deprived of the right to telephone contact, family visits, and access to a lawyer since their arrest.
