Tehran; Death of Idris Darvishvand, a 34-year-old Lak Young Man From Alvand, During Nationwide Protests

Idris Darvishvand, a 34-year-old Lak citizen from the city of Alvand in Qazvin Province, is one of those killed in the nationwide protests of Dey who lost his life as a result of gunfire by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Idris Darvishvand was targeted during nationwide protests in Tehran by direct fire from three live bullets to his arm, finger, and side, and after being transferred, he died on Saturday, January 10, 2026, due to the severity of his injuries.

According to received information, the body of this deceased individual was buried on Sunday, January 11, 2026, after security pressure was exerted and a written commitment was taken from the family not to chant slogans during the burial ceremony.
The family was placed under restrictions and monitoring by security forces during this process.
