Rebin Gorani, one of the volunteers who participated in extinguishing the forest and pasture fires in Marivan, passed away at Tohid Hospital in Sanandaj.

According to Kolbarnews, Rebin Gorani, a volunteer involved in controlling the forest and pasture fires in Marivan, died on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Hospital in Sanandaj.
Rebin Gorani, a resident of “Sawa” village in Marivan, suffered severe lung and respiratory injuries during the widespread fires in the Haneshikhan, Banavachleh, and Daravaran pastures in late August. After returning from the fire site, he sought medical care, but according to reports, he was hospitalized with a delay. Following several days of worsening condition, including severe nausea and dizziness, he fell into a coma on Tuesday, August 26.
Despite medical efforts, his overall health condition did not improve, and after ten days in a coma, he ultimately lost his life in the hospital.
