Servak Abolghasemi, the head of the “Arez” mountaineering group in Sanandaj, was arrested by forces of the Ministry of Intelligence and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Servak Abolghasemi, a mountaineer and environmental activist from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces. This arrest was carried out following a raid by intelligence forces on his private residence and without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
Based on this report, the arrest of this citizen was carried out in connection with his participation in the large-scale oak sapling planting campaign titled “Zagrosaneh,” which had been held in recent days in Ghaleh Hasanabad, Sanandaj.
