Karo Manbari, a 19-year-old young man from the village of Niyer and a resident of the village of Hasanabad, a district of Sanandaj, was arrested during a violent raid by security forces on his family home. The arrest was carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was accompanied by the destruction of part of the home and the creation of an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, February 2, 2026, security forces of the Intelligence Department violently entered the home of Karo Manbari’s family, conducted a full search of the house, and destroyed part of the household property and belongings. The forces also confiscated the mobile phones and some personal belongings of Karo Manbari and his family members without presenting any legal authorization, and then arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location.
According to statements from an informed source, security agents provided no explanation regarding the reasons for the arrest during the operation, and as of the time of publication of this report, no information is available about the place of detention, legal status, or physical condition of Karo Manbari.
The source also emphasized that during the arrest, security forces threatened Karo Manbari’s family by stating, “You will never see your child again,” which has significantly increased the family’s concern regarding the life and fate of this 19-year-old young man.
