Mostafa Pirouti, a 51-year-old married citizen originally from Piranshahr and residing in Mahabad, was arrested by Intelligence Department forces in front of his home and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia.
According to Kolbarnews on Thursday, June 11, 2026, Intelligence Department forces arrested Mostafa Pirouti in front of his residence in Mahabad without presenting a judicial warrant.
The arrest was reportedly accompanied by the use of violence by the officers.
