Nazanin Zahra Salehi, a 13-year-old girl from Kermanshah, is another victim of the nationwide protests in the city who lost her life after being directly shot by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Nazanin Zahra Salehi, a 13-year-old resident of Kermanshah, was directly shot by suppressive forces during nationwide protests in the city while inside a park and lost her life.

According to the source, the teenager had lost both her parents years earlier and was living under the care of her aunt.

As of the time of preparing this report, it is not known whether any money was taken from the family for the handover of Nazanin Zahra Salehi’s body or whether the family was forced to sign a written pledge. However, informed sources had previously told Kolbarnews that government institutions in Kermanshah have demanded amounts ranging from 700 million to one billion tomans from families in exchange for handing over the bodies of those killed, forcing families to pay these sums.
