Amir Mohammad Arbab Pouri, a child from Harsin County, lost his life during the January protests in the Moallem neighborhood of Kermanshah after being directly shot by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Amir Mohammad Arbab Pouri, a child from the village of Bariveh Sofla in Harsin County, Kermanshah Province, lost his life during nationwide protests in the Moallem neighborhood of Kermanshah as a result of direct gunfire by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Based on the information received, following this incident, security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran pressured the family of Amir Mohammad Arbab Pouri to declare that their child had been killed by protesters.
The body of this deceased child was handed over to his family in exchange for the payment of 700 million tomans and was buried on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in his home village.
Security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran have made the release of the bodies of those killed in the protests conditional on the payment of large sums of money, while simultaneously pressuring families to refrain from any public disclosure and to repeat the official narratives of security institutions regarding how their children were killed.
