Kermanshah; Continued Detention and Legal Limbo of Farshad Naderi in Dizelabad Prison

Farshad Naderi, a citizen from the Darreh Derij neighborhood of Kermanshah, is still being held in a state of legal uncertainty in Dizelabad Prison in this city, and his legal status remains unclear.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Farshad Naderi was arrested by security forces during the popular protests in Kermanshah without the presentation of a judicial warrant and, after the completion of interrogation procedures, was transferred to Dizelabad Prison.
Based on available information, during his detention he has so far been denied the right to access a lawyer, and he has not been allowed to meet with his family.

Farshad Naderi is the cousin of “Sina Naderi,” one of those killed during the Jina revolutionary uprising in Kermanshah, and his continued detention comes as his family has expressed concern about his legal limbo and the legal deprivations imposed on him.
