Kermanshah; Arrest of a Citizen by security forces

Moslem Zarei, a cultural activist from Kermanshah, has been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, Moslem Zarei, a cultural activist in the city of Kermanshah, was arrested without a judicial warrant by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
At the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest or the possible charges against this citizen.

Moslem Zarei is the brother of Mahsa Zarei, a civil and cultural activist who had previously been arrested by security forces in June and January 2026, and was later temporarily released on bail after undergoing interrogation.
