Moslem Seidi, a 39-year-old citizen from Kermanshah, remains in complete uncertainty after 27 days of arbitrary detention, with no clear information available about his place of detention, physical condition, or legal status. The situation has caused serious concern among his family and relatives.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Moslem Seidi was inside a doctor’s office on Kashani Street in Kermanshah when he was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location. Since his arrest, he has been denied the right to phone calls, family visits, and access to legal counsel, while security and judicial authorities have provided no official explanation regarding his condition.
According to available information, Moslem Seidi served as a coach and supervisor in the Kermanshah Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and also owned a butcher shop on Maskan Street in the city. Despite nearly a month passing since his arrest, his family remains completely uninformed about his detention conditions and legal case process.
Concerns about his fate intensified after state-affiliated media published a video described as a “forced confession” related to the Kermanshah protests. Relatives suspect that one of the images shown in the video—depicting a person walking—may be Moslem Seidi. The video, which portrays detainees using terms such as “saboteurs” and “agents of colonialism,” has increased fears among families about the possibility of severe sentences, including the death penalty, in proceedings viewed as unfair and conducted without access to legal representation.
