According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Sunday, February 1, 2026, security forces raided the family home of Milad Ebrahimi in Kamiyaran and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant. This arrest took place while he had been shot and injured on Thursday, January 8, 2026, during public protests in Kamyaran.

According to received information, at the same time as the arrest of Milad Ebrahimi, his younger brother, Hamed Ebrahimi, was also arrested by security forces.
