Evin Prison: Release of Mokhtar Asadi on Bail

Mokhtar Asadi, a union activist and member of the “Kurdistan-Sanandaj Teachers’ Union,” has been temporarily released from Evin Prison after posting bail.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, Mokhtar Asadi was released from Ward 4 of Evin Prison after posting bail. Asadi had been arrested on Monday, August 19, 2024, after reporting to the regime’s Cyber Police (FATA) and was subsequently transferred to Evin Prison.

A bail order for the charges against Mokhtar Asadi was issued on Sunday, September 1, 2024, and he was finally released from prison today.
