As the wave of arbitrary arrests of citizens continues in Ilam Province, two residents of Darreh Shahr were arrested by security forces and transferred to unknown locations.
According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday and Monday, January 4 and 5, 2026, two citizens from Darreh Shahr, Sadra Yousefi (18) and Ali Darabi (23) were arrested by security forces and taken to undisclosed locations. According to the report, both arrests were carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant, and to date no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest, their place of detention, or their legal status.
As of the time of writing this report, the families’ efforts to learn about the fate of these two citizens have remained unsuccessful, and security and judicial authorities have provided no clear response regarding their situation.
