Piranshahr; Citizen Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison

Naseh Lahijani, a citizen from Piranshahr, has been sentenced to ten years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of this city.

According to Kolbarnews, in recent days, Naseh Lahijani, a resident of Hamzeh-Abad village in Piranshahr county, was handed a ten-year prison sentence by the Revolutionary Court.

Reports indicate that Mr. Lahijani had spent nearly five months in one of Urmia’s intelligence detention centers. Following this period, the Revolutionary Court convicted him on the charge of “membership in an opposition party”, sentencing him to ten years and one day in prison, with his time in detention counted toward the sentence.
