Four citizens from different cities in Ilam Province have been arrested in recent days by security forces and transferred to undisclosed locations. Several days to more than a week after their arrests, no precise information is available about their condition or place of detention.
According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, February 20, 2026, Mohammadmehdi Pirdeh, an 18-year-old from DarehShahr, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Also, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Jaber Soltanian, a citizen from Asmanabad, was arrested following a raid by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Continuing these arrests, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, Erfan Azizi, a young citizen from Helilan, was arrested without any judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, February 23, 2026, Sabah Karimi, a citizen from Malekshahi, was also arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to received information, these four citizens have been deprived of access to a lawyer, in-person visits, and contact with their families during their detention. The continued lack of information about their condition and place of detention has significantly increased concerns among their families.
