Payam Ahmadi, a young Kolbar from Sarvabad, lost his life due to direct gunfire by border regiment forces in the “Hanjiran” border area of Marivan.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, a young Kolbar lost his life as a result of direct fire by border regiment forces in the Hanjiran border area of Marivan.
The identity of this young Kolbar has been confirmed by Kolbarnews as “Payam Ahmadi,” a resident of “Barqro” village, part of Sarvabad county.
According to this report, due to the militarized nature of the area, the transfer of this Kolbar’s body to Marivan Hospital was carried out by local people in the early morning of Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
It should be noted that the body of Payam Ahmadi is currently in the morgue of Marivan Hospital, and his burial ceremony will be held today, Thursday, in his hometown.
Payam Ahmadi was married and had a child.
According to statistics recorded by Kolbarnews, in the year 1403, a total of 183 Kolbars were killed or injured in the border areas and inter-road routes of West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and Kermanshah provinces due to factors such as direct shooting by regime military forces, avalanches and hypothermia, landmine explosions, falls from mountains and heights, and other incidents.Out of this total, 52 Kolbars (28%) were killed, and 131 Kolbars (72%) were injured. Among the 183 Kolbars who were killed or injured in 1403, 143 cases (78%) resulted from direct shootings by regime military forces.Additionally, among the 183 kulbars affected, 11 (6%) were child Kolbars under the age of 18. One of these cases resulted in the death of a child Kolbar due to hypothermia.
