Kurdistan: Two Citizens Arrested by Security Forces

Mobin Talebani, a resident of Marivan, and Keiyvan Saeedi, a resident of Oshnavieh, were arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Mobin Talebani, a 20-year-old student from Marivan, was detained by security forces while on his way to university. His whereabouts remain unknown.

In a separate case, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Keyvan Saeedi, a 24-year-old from Singan village in Oshnavieh County, was also arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.

Security agents reportedly carried out the arrests without presenting any judicial warrant.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, the places of detention, or the charges brought against these citizens.
