Kermanshah; Two brothers aged 17 and 20 killed by direct fire from government forces

During popular protests in the city of Kermanshah, two brothers were killed by direct gunfire from forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and their bodies have not yet been handed over to their family.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Sunday, January 4, 2026, Reza Kadivarian, a 20-year-old resident of the Dipin neighborhood of Kermanshah, who had been severely wounded and fallen into a coma after being shot directly by government forces during protests in the Jafarabad neighborhood, died after being transferred to Taleghani Hospital.

Also, on the evening of Saturday, January 3, 2026, Rasoul Kadivarian, a 17-year-old child and the younger brother of Reza Kadivarian, was shot directly by repressive forces during the same protests on Artesh Street in the Jafarabad neighborhood of Kermanshah and was killed instantly.

According to the report, both brothers were directly targeted by gunfire from forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the protests in Kermanshah. Rasoul Kadivarian was killed at the scene, while Reza Kadivarian died after one day of hospitalization.

As of the time of publication of this report, the bodies of the two brothers have not been returned to their family, and no official explanation has been provided regarding this matter.
