Amirreza Forouhar, a 20-year-old Kurdish young man from the Kurmanj Kurds residing in Bojnord in North Khorasan Province, remains in a state of uncertainty in Bojnord Prison 30 days after his arrest, and his family has expressed serious concern about his life and fate.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, Amirreza Forouhar was arrested by security forces without presenting any judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.
On the first day, this Kurdish citizen informed his family of his arrest during a brief phone call and was transferred to Bojnord Prison after several days. However, since his transfer, he has remained in detention without being formally informed of specific charges and has been deprived of the right to telephone contact, in-person visits, and access to a lawyer.
The continued complete lack of information regarding the legal and judicial status of Amirreza Forouhar in Bojnord Prison has intensified the concerns of his family and relatives about his health and fate.
