Hassan Fallahi, a Kurdish Yarsan youth from Kermanshah, lost his life during nationwide protests in the city after being directly shot with live ammunition by government forces.
According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Hassan Fallahi, a young man from Kermanshah, was killed by direct live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
Based on the information received, on Friday evening, during nationwide protests in Kermanshah and in the Elahiyeh neighborhood, he was shot from behind with live ammunition by suppressive government forces and lost his life.
As of the time of preparing this report, it is not known whether the family was required to pay money or sign a written pledge in order to receive the body of this deceased citizen.
However, informed sources had previously told Kolbarnews that government institutions in Kermanshah have demanded amounts ranging from 700 million tomans to one billion tomans from families in exchange for handing over the bodies of those killed, forcing families to pay these sums.
