Kermanshah; Death of a Citizen During Nationwide protests by direct live gunfire

Siroos Harbgain, a citizen and follower of the Yarsan faith from Qasr-e Shirin and the father of two children, is the identity of one of those killed in the nationwide protests in Kermanshah Province who lost his life during the street crackdown.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Siroos Harbgain was killed during nationwide protests in the Elahiyeh district of Kermanshah after being directly shot by government forces, with a live bullet striking his head. This deceased citizen owned a flower shop in the Elahiyeh district.

According to obtained information, the body of Siroos Harbgain was buried on Saturday, January 10, under a heavy security atmosphere, in his wife’s hometown at Imamzadeh Baqer in Bisotun. The burial ceremony for this deceased citizen was held under restrictions and the supervision of security forces.
