An informed source stated that these two citizens have been deprived of access to a lawyer and family visits since the time of their arrest.

The lack of information about the fate of these two citizens has increased concerns among their families.

Rasoul Fathi and Pouria Alizadeh were arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant on Thursday and Friday, January 8 and 9, 2026.
