Three Baloch Sukhtbars including one child lost their lives after a collision between a Sukhtbari Toyota vehicle and an empty-load Toyota vehicle near the village of Shahbeik-Zeh’i in Dashtiari County.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, a crash between a Sukhtbari Toyota and an empty-load Toyota on the road near Shahbeik-Zeh’i village in Dashtiari County, followed by a fire, resulted in the deaths of three Baloch Sukhtbars.
The deceased Baloch Sukhtbars have been identified as: Jassem Raeisi, son of Nazar Mohammad, married and a father, from the village of Kajom in Sarbaz County, Iman Balochi, 13 years old, a student, son of Halim, Azam Dehqani, son of Mohammad Ali, both from the village of Gazmanzel in Bahu Kalat district of Dashtiari County.
According to the report, the incident occurred around noon on the Dashtiari–Rask road near Shahbeik-Zeh’i. Immediately after the collision, both vehicles caught fire. Bystanders and passersby managed to recover the bodies, but both vehicles were completely destroyed in the blaze.
Sources added that the child injured in the crash was severely wounded and transferred to a medical center, but due to the extent of injuries, he later passed away, while the other two victims died at the scene.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars. According to reports from Baloch activists, in the year 2024, at least 375 Baloch Sukhtbars have been injured or lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires. Of this number, 240 Sukhtbars were killed and 135 were injured, representing a 55% increase in the number of killed and injured Sukhtbars compared to the year 2023.
