Based on the information obtained, despite the passage of 23 days since the arrest of Ahmad Zerrang and Suleiman (Mohammad) Esmaili, the legal status and place of detention of these two citizens remain unclear, and Ebrahim Mardani was also arrested 12 days ago by security forces, and as of the time of drafting this report, his fate remains unknown.
Repeated follow-ups by the families of these three citizens with security and judicial institutions have so far been unsuccessful, and no clear response has been provided regarding the reasons for the arrest, the place of detention, or the process of handling their cases, a situation that has increased the concern of their families and relatives.
Ebrahim Mardani was arrested on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, by security forces in Bukan, and Ahmad Zerrang and Suleiman (Mohammad) Esmaili were also arrested on Friday, December 5, 2025, in their private homes by security agents.
