Tehran; Death of Majid Jalilian During Nationwide Protests

Majid Jalilian, a citizen from Kermanshah, lost his life during nationwide protests in Tehran after being directly shot with live ammunition by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Majid Jalilian was directly shot with live ammunition by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in Tehran and lost his life.

As of the time of preparing this report, it is not known whether the body of this deceased citizen has been handed over to the family, nor is it known whether the family was required to pay money or sign a written pledge in order to receive the body.
