Rasoul Chaghakaboudi, a young Kurdish man from Kermanshah, lost his life during nationwide protests in Karaj after being directly shot with live ammunition by government forces.
According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, “Rasoul Chaghakaboudi” was targeted by direct live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in Karaj and lost his life.
As of the time of preparing this report, it is not known whether the body of this deceased citizen has been handed over to the family, nor is it known whether the family was required to pay money or sign a written pledge in order to receive the body.
