Neyshabur; 720 Primary School Children Deprived of Education

The Director of Education in Neyshabur has reported that 720 children at the primary level in this county have been deprived of schooling.

According to Kolbarnews, quoting Mehr News Agency, Ebrahim Heidari stated: “This year, 44,789 primary school students have been registered in Neyshabur, of which 6,673 are first-grade entrants. This figure shows a decrease of 840 compared to last year.”

The deprivation of children from education in Iran, particularly in disadvantaged areas, remains one of the country’s most serious challenges in the field of education and child rights.

According to a report by the Statistics Center of the Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRAI), at least three million students across the country were deprived of schooling in 2024.
