Ehsan Khazaei and his wife Neda Karegar were arrested and transferred to an unknown location following a violent raid by intelligence forces on their home.
According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, July 14, 2025, Ehsan Khazaei, the brother of Erfan Khazaei, one of the martyrs of the Jina uprising and a member of the justice-seeking families, along with his wife Neda Karegar (Hasti Khazaei), were arrested during a violent raid by intelligence agents on their residence and taken to an unknown location.
Based on this report, during the raid, over 60 security agents severely beat the mother and brother of Erfan Khazaei (Yazdan Khazaei) and confiscated the mobile phones of their parents, Ehsan, Yazdan, and Neda. It is said that Ehsan and Neda are parents to three young children, one of whom is an infant.
Erfan Khazaei, a 30-year-old from Kangavar, was killed by direct gunfire from security forces on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, during public protests in Shahriar, Tehran, and was buried in the same city.
