Mahabad; Continued Detention and Lack of Information on a Citizen

Six days have passed since the arrest of football coach Rebwār Mostafazadeh from Mahabad by security forces, yet no information about his whereabouts or condition is available.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, June 24, 2025, Rebwār Mostafazadeh, a football coach from the city of Mahabad, was arbitrarily detained without a judicial warrant after being summoned to the Mahabad Intelligence Office and transferred to an unknown location.
As of now, six days after his detention, no details have been released about his status. This ongoing lack of information has caused growing concern among his family.

At the time of this report, the reasons for his arrest and the charges against him remain unknown.
