Based on received reports, Moslem Zahiri, Masoud Mehrabi, Karim Rezaei, Mahmoud Al-Kathir, and Hossein Khassafpour are among the workers who have been arrested in connection with this strike.

In response to this action, a group of workers from the Middle East Sugar Company gathered in front of the Law Enforcement Force building in Shush, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of their detained colleagues.
The protesting workers stated that the arrests were carried out following a complaint by the company’s management and with the aim of exerting pressure on the strikers.
