A 15-year-old Baloch child Sukhtbar lost his life after his vehicle overturned and caught fire.
According to Kolbarnews, citing sources from Balochistan, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, a child Baloch Sukhtbar died after a Nissan pickup truck overturned and caught fire on the Konarak route.
The identity of the child Sukhtbar has been confirmed as Abdolbaset Karangesh, a 15-year-old son of Gol Mohammad and a resident of the village of Shahrak Dargiabend in Delgan County.
According to local sources, the incident occurred this morning near the Konarak junction. The Sukhtbari vehicle driven by Abdolbaset reportedly veered off the road, overturned, and burst into flames.
As a result of the incident, the teenage driver became trapped inside the fire and lost his life.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars.According to the 2025 annual report of the Baluchistan Human Rights Documentation Network, at least 262 Sukhtbars were killed or injured. Of these, 173 Sukhtbars lost their lives due to gunfire by military forces, road accidents during pursuits by security forces, or explosions caused by mines planted by the IRGC, while 89 others were injured. Four child Sukhtbars were among those killed.
