Kermanshah; Death of Hassan Nouri by Live Gunfire to the Head During Nationwide Protests

Hassan Nouri, a 42-year-old Kurdish man from Kermanshah, has been identified as another victim of the January nationwide protests in the city.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Hassan Nouri was directly targeted in the head by live ammunition fired by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in the area of “Vakil Agha Intersection” in Kermanshah and lost his life.

An informed source confirmed that the body of this citizen was handed over to his family in exchange for the payment of 600 million tomans, and his burial ceremony was held at Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.

Hassan Nouri was a shopkeeper in Kermanshah and owned a store in the city, and like other protest victims, his family faced security pressure during the process of receiving his body and holding the burial ceremony.
