Kermanshah; Death of Saman Nazari by Live Bullet Shot to the Eye

Saman Nazari, a 21-year-old Kurdish young man from the city of Kermanshah, is identified as another victim of the nationwide protests who lost his life during the suppression of protesters.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Saman Nazari was targeted in the “Dareh Derij” neighborhood of Kermanshah by direct fire of live ammunition by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic, was shot in the eye, and lost his life due to the severity of his injuries.

Based on received information, after his death, the body of this victim was buried in the cemetery of the village of “Shovin,” a district of Dalahu County in Kermanshah Province.

Reports indicate that in similar cases, security institutions, by applying pressure and restrictions on the families of victims of the nationwide protests, have attempted to prevent the free flow of information and the holding of public ceremonies.
