Amirhossein Safari Goldasteh, a 20-year-old Kurdish young man, has been identified as another victim of the nationwide protests who lost his life during the suppression of the protests in Kermanshah.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Amirhossein Safari Goldasteh was directly targeted by live ammunition fired by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic in the “Se-Rah Maskan” area of the city of Kermanshah and was killed after being struck by bullets.
The body of the deceased was buried on Friday, January 9, 2026, in one of the villages of the “Kenesht” area located on the Qazanchi–Cheshmeh Cheragh road.
According to received information, the handover and burial of Amirhossein Safari Goldasteh’s body were carried out under security pressure and with severe restrictions, and his family was prohibited from holding any public mourning ceremony; a process that, in similar cases, has been accompanied by threats and pressure on the families of those killed in the nationwide protests.
