Kermanshah; Arrest of a citizen injured during nationwide protests

Nima Raziani, a citizen from Kermanshah, is among those injured in the recent protests who has been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Nima Raziani was arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Pardis neighborhood of Kermanshah. This young citizen had previously been targeted by pellet gunfire from government forces during protest gatherings on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, as a result of which he lost the eyesight in one of his eyes.

The arrest of this citizen has taken place despite the fact that he is considered a direct victim of the suppression of popular protests and had previously also been subjected to security pressure.
