Kermanshah; Arbitrary Arrest of a Citizen by Security Forces

As the wave of arbitrary arrests of Kurdish citizens continues, a resident of Kermanshah was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, Ehsan Vineh, a citizen of Kermanshah, was arrested by security forces in the Jafarabad neighborhood of the city and immediately taken to an undisclosed location.
According to the report, the arrest was carried out without presenting any judicial warrant, and to date no information is available regarding his place of detention, physical condition, legal status, or the charges brought against him.

As of the time of writing this report, the family’s efforts to learn about Ehsan Vineh’s fate have remained unsuccessful, and security authorities have refused to provide any official explanation.
