Karaj; Death of a Citizen After Direct Gunfire by Government Forces

Continuing the suppression of nationwide protests, Seyed Milad Rahimi, a Kurdish Yarsani citizen, was killed after being directly shot by government forces during popular protests in Karaj.

According to Kolbarnews, Seyed Milad Rahimi was directly shot by military forces during nationwide protests in Karaj on Thursday or Friday, January 8 or 9, 2026, and lost his life.

Seyed Milad Rahimi was a Yarsani citizen from the village of Zardeh, a district of Gilan-e Gharb in Dalahu County, Kermanshah Province, who was killed by government forces during the protests.

According to informed sources, the body of this Kurdish citizen was buried on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the Kerend-e Gharb cemetery.
