Thirty-two days after the arbitrary arrest of Ebrahim Rostami, a citizen from Kamiyaran and the father of two daughters, there is still no clear information about his physical condition, place of detention, or fate, and the complete lack of information has caused serious concern for his family.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Ebrahim Rostami, a citizen from Kamiyaran County, was arrested by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence detention center.
On the fourth day of his detention, during a brief phone call with his family, this citizen reported severe physical and psychological torture and stated that he had gone on a hunger strike in protest against his detention conditions.
After this call, his contact with his family was completely cut off, and since then no information has been released about his health condition, exact place of detention, or the progress of his case.
According to available information, Ebrahim Rostami has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, telephone contact, and family visits throughout his detention, and the continuation of this situation has intensified concerns about his life and safety.
