Javanroud; Re-Arrest of “Khaled Mahmoudi” by Security Forces

“Khaled Mahmoudi,” a resident of Ravanser and a detainee from the nationwide protests of 2022, has been re-arrested by security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, May 17, 2024, “Khaled Mahmoudi,” a 20-year-old resident of the village of “Shanresh” in Ravanser County and a resident of Javanroud, was arrested by security forces in Javanroud and taken to an unknown location. 

Plainclothes officers from the Ministry of Intelligence arrested Mahmoudi on the street without presenting a judicial warrant.

Previously, Khaled Mahmoudi was arrested by security forces on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, and transferred to Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah. After more than four months of detention, he was temporarily released on bail on March 26, 2023, pending the completion of judicial proceedings.

As of the time of this report, the reasons for his arrest and the charges against him are not known.
