Iraqi Kurdistan: Worker Dies Due to Lack of Workplace Safety

Taleb Boromandi, a construction worker from Nowsud, Kermanshah Province, lost his life after falling from a building in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, August 29, 2025, a worker lost his life after falling from a building while carrying out construction work in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The worker has been identified as Taleb Boromandi, son of Momen, and a native of Nowsud, Kermanshah Province.

It is worth noting that in 2024, at least 2,042 workers lost their lives due to workplace accidents, and at least 16,113 workers were injured as a result of unsafe working conditions.
