Milad Farrokhi, a young resident of Eslamabad-e Gharb, has been identified as another victim of the protests in the city. He was killed by direct live gunfire from government forces during the violent crackdown on demonstrators.

According to Kolbarnews, Milad Farrokhi, a Kurdish citizen from Eslamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province, was shot and killed on the evening of Thursday, January 7, 2026, during public protests in the city. Based on information obtained, he was the son of Esfandiar, married, and the father of two children named Aria and Andia.
The body of this victim was buried on Saturday, January 14, 2026, in the cemetery of Venaei village.
As of the time of this report, it is unclear whether Farrokhi’s family was forced to pay money or sign a written pledge in order to receive his body.
However, informed sources had previously told Kolbarnews that government institutions in Kermanshah Province have demanded sums ranging from 700 million to one billion tomans from families in exchange for handing over the bodies of those killed during the protests, leaving families with little choice but to comply.
